Weekly Recap

The Sheldon ISD Band Program had a great week of marching band! We had our final performance of our show Fanta-SEA this past week. Thank you to every C.E. King Student who helped make this show possible. We're proud of everything you've done this marching season. We as a Band Program hope you've grown as artists performers, and people.

Reminder that Mock Region Auditions will help determine which band class students will be in for the Spring 2026 Semester. Students will be judged on their ability to play through the Freshmen Cuts of the 3 Region Etudes. Please know that students will be given a participation grade for this audition. Students will be evaluated by different band directors from around the Houston Area. Those directors will then give their recommendations to the KHS Directors.

This week marks the end of beginning of Playoff Game Season. Schedule will be based on how the football team does each week. We will keep families posted as we go through Playoff Season.

Weekly Recap

The Sheldon ISD Band Program had a great week of marching band! We had multiple performances of our show Fanta-SEA this past week. On Monday our band performed at Wood Forest Bank Stadium for the UIL Area F Marching Contest Prelims. Our students earned their highest placement in our program's history. Congratulations students on a historic finish to the season.

On Friday we celebrated our Seniors at our last official District Home Game. Thank you seniors for the year(s) of dedication you've given our program.

Weekly Recap

The Sheldon ISD Band Program had a great week of marching band! We had multiple performances of our show Fanta-SEA this past week. On Thursday the students got to perform at Turner Stadium for the C.E. King v. Kingwood Away Game. On Friday, Sheldon ISD's Game Day Live was a huge success. Our students got to perform for all the 5th Graders in the entire district and promote the Band Program.

Our students original performance for October 25th was unfortunately moved to Monday October 27th due to weather conditions. Please come out and support the KHS Band Students at Woodforest Bank Stadium at 8:15AM!
