Here are this weeks announcements for the KHS Band.


August 19th - 23rd


Reminders

  • 9GC Students will need to take the After School Shuttle for Marching Band Rehearsals

  • STUDENTS MUST CHECK THEIR STUDENT EMAIL FOR THE MARCHING BAND GOOGLE CLASSROOM

  • ALL MARCHING BAND ABSENCES MUST BE REPORTED TO MS. BOONE

  • Wednesday August 21st - Community Pep Rally in the Gym @6:00PM

  • Thursday August 22 - 6PM-7PM Donation Drive

  • Friday August 23rd - Community Marching Band Performance has ben CANCELLED


Monday August 19th

  • White Day (1/3/5/7/8)

  • Full Band Rehearsal

    • 4:00PM - 7:00PM

    • Dot Focused Rehearsal

    • Marching Band Goal: Learn All of Movement 3 Drill

  • Band Booster Meeting

    • 7:00PM - 8:00PM

Tuesday August 20th

  • Blue Day (2/4/5/6/8)

  • NO REHEARSAL AFTER SCHOOL


Wednesday August 21st

  • White Day (1/3/5/7/8)

  • Full Band Rehearsal

    • 3:30PM - 5:30PM

    • Dot Focused Rehearsal

    • Marching Band Goal: Review Movement 3

  • Community Pep Rally Performance

    • 6:00PM - 7:00PM

      • Winds/Percussion Uniform: Jersey and Athletic Shorts (Not Khaki)

      • Guard Uniform: Grey Guard Shirt





Thursday August 22nd

  • Blue Day (2/4/5/6/8)

  • Full Band Rehearsal

    • 3:30PM - 6:30PM

    • Form Focused Rehearsal

    • Marching Band Goal: Full Production Runs of Mvt. 1/2/3


  • Donation Drive

    • 6:00PM - 7:00PM

Here are this weeks announcements for the KHS Band.


August 12th - 17th


Reminders

  • 9th Grade Center Students will stay at the 9th Grade Center during their band class on August 12th and August 13th.

  • 9GC Students will begin being bussed over to the Main Campus during their band class on Wednesday August 14th.

  • 9GC Students will need to take the After School Shuttle on Tuesday August 13th

  • 9GC Students will store their instruments in the Band Hall by the Gym at the 9GC during the school day.

  • During school on Wednesday and Thursday, KHS Main Campus students will have assemblies on student expectations for the school year

  • FULL BAND LOGISTICS DAY ON SATURDAY AUGUST 17th

    • Logistics Day Schedule will be posted on Wednesday August 14th at Noon

    • Rough Draft Times: 7:00AM - 5:00PM

  • STUDENTS MUST CHECK THEIR STUDENT EMAIL FOR THE MARCHING BAND GOOGLE CLASSROOM

  • ALL MARCHING BAND ABSENCES MUST BE REPORTED TO MS. BOONE

  • First Day of School!

  • NO AFTER SCHOOL REHEARSAL ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

  • WE WILL BE OPERATING ON A DIFFERENT BELL SCHEDULE FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL




Tuesday August 13th

  • Blue Day (2/4/5/6/8)

  • Full Band Rehearsal

    • 3:30PM - 6:30PM

  • Full Band Goal

    • Review all sets we have learned so far

    • Visual Focused/Dot Focused Rehearsal



Wednesday August 14th

  • White Day (1/3/5/7/8)

  • Full Band Rehearsal

    • 3:30PM - 5:30PM

  • Full Band Goal

    • Finish the last sets of Movement 2

    • Visual Focused/Dot Focused

    • Review all sets we have learned so far



Thursday August 15th

  • Blue Day (2/4/5/6/8)

  • Full Band Rehearsal

    • 3:30PM - 6:30PM

  • Full Band Goal

    • Music Focused/Form Focused

    • Review all sets we have learned so far



Friday August 16th

  • White Day (1/3/5/7/8)

  • NO REHEARSAL AFTERSCHOOL


Saturday August 17th

  • Logistics Day
