Here are this weeks announcements for the KHS Band. October 30th - November 3rd


Reminders

  • KHS Winter Guard Auditions will be Tuesday November 7th from 3:30PM - 6:30PM in the KHS Orchestra Room

  • KHS Indoor Percussion Parent/Student Meeting will be on Thursday, November 9th at 5:00PM

  • Woodwind and Brass Concert Band Audition Videos are due on Monday November 13th by 11:59PM

  • KHS Indoor Percussion Auditions will be held on Wednesday November 15th from 3:00PM - 5:30PM


Monday October 30th

  • White Day (1, 3, 5, 7, 8)

  • 3:30PM - 5:30PM - KHS Winter Guard Auditions in Orchestra Room


  • 3:00PM - 4:00PM - 8th Period (Flutes/Oboes/Saxes/Bassoons/All Brass Sectionals)

  • 4:00PM - 4:45PM - 5th Period (Flutes/Oboes/Saxes Sectionals)

  • 4:00PM - 5:00PM - 5th Period (All Brass Sectionals)

  • 4:45PM - 5:30PM - 2nd/3rd Period (Flute/Saxes Sectionals)

  • 5:00PM - 6:00PM - 2nd/3rd Period (All Brass Sectionals)


Tuesday October 31st

  • Blue Day (2, 4, 5, 6, 8)

  • 3:00PM - 4:00PM - 8th Period (Clarinet Sectionals)

Wednesday November 1st

  • White Day (1, 3, 5, 7, 8)

  • 3:30PM - 5:30PM - KHS Winter Guard Auditions @ 9th Grade Campus Boys Gym

  • 3:00PM - 4:00PM (MAKEUP SECTIONALS)

Null MS v. King MS Football Game

  • 4:00PM - Call Time

  • 4:30PM - Dinner will be Provided!!!

  • 5:15PM - Stadium Transition

  • 5:30PM - Play in Stands w/ Middle Schools

  • 6:30PM - Performance Ends

  • 7:00PM - Dismissal

Thursday November 2nd

  • Blue Day (2, 4, 5, 6, 8)

  • FULL MARCHING BAND from 3:30PM - 4:30PM

  • Pantherettes Rehearsal! Have Flip Folders and be ready to go at 3:30PM

  • End of Season BBQ from 4:30PM - 6:30PM (Attendance Mandatory)

  • Parent Pickup Location: In Front of PAC

  • Parents MUST park in a parking spot for Student Safety. You will not be able to pull up next to the school and have your student hop in. Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe.

Friday November 3rd

  • NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS

  • Beaumont Westbrook Home Game (SENIOR NIGHT!)

  • 2:30PM - Call Time in Band Hall

  • 3:15PM - Stadium Rehearsal

  • 4:00PM - Dinner

  • 5:15PM - Inspection

  • 5:40PM - Seniors Depart for Panther Zone

  • 6:00PM - Depart for Stadium

  • 7:00PM - Kickoff

  • 10:30PM - Approximate End of Game

Here are this weeks announcements for the KHS Band. October 23rd - October 28th


Band Celebrations

  • Our Mighty Panther Marching Band had a fantastic UIL Region Performance on Saturday October 14th at Planet Ford Stadium! The band earned a Superior Rating from each Judge. This is the first time the band has earned a Superior from all 3 Judges since 2019.

  • This past Saturday, October 21st, the KHS Marching Band competed at the UIL Area F Competition. The band earned 20th in the Area overall, moving up 5 placements from last year. Congratulations on a great competitive season!

  • Our third band fee payment of $50 was due on October 7th! Students need to make sure to communicate payment plans to directors.

  • 4:30PM - Depart for Tuner Stadium

  • 6:00PM - Kickoff

  • 9:00PM - Approximate End of Game

  • 9:30PM - Approximate Return to KHS

Hello!

Here are this weeks announcements for the KHS Band. September 25th - September 29th


Band Celebrations

  • Our Mighty Panther Marching Band had a great performance at Turner Stadium this past Friday!

Reminders

  • Our second band fee payment of $50 was due on September 5th! Students need to make sure to communicate payment plans to directors.

  • Please try to make sure to schedule doctor and dentist appointments on days where students do not have rehearsals. We will be learning the rest of our marching show over the next two weeks, and students who miss rehearsals WILL end up behind.

  • Students will be rehearsing at the Stadium on Monday. Please expect an extra ten minute wait while we transition from the stadium to the school

Monday September 25th

  • White Day (1, 3, 5, 7, 8)

  • Full Band 4:00PM - 7:00PM

  • Stadium Rehearsal!

  • Parent Pickup Location: In Front of PAC
