Our Mighty Panther Band had its first performance of the school year! We had the opportunity to perform at the Sheldon ISD 2023 Convocation for all the teachers and administrators in our school district. The band represented C.E. King HS and our Sheldon community well and showed what our students are able to achieve. Congratulations to our Panther Band on a successful performance!
Next Friday, July 28th, the Panther Band will be attending Main Event to celebrate the end of our second full week of band camp. All members must RSVP by Saturday, July 22nd at 11:59PM if they wish to attend. Band members will be able to attend for free, the KHS Band Program will cover their costs. Members who go to Main Event will be driven to and from there on a bus. Guardians will have to pick up their students at 5:30PM on Friday July 28th in front of the KHS Performing Arts Center. Guardians will NOT be allowed to pick their student up directly from Main Event.

The KHS Band Program will be having a Donation Drive on Tuesday, July 18th from 4:00PM - 6:00PM. If you wish to donate to the program, simply pull up in front of the KHS Performing Arts Center and a Band Booster will assist you with your donation. If you are wanting to donate but unable to make it during the above times, you can make a donation through Zelle to our Band Booster by using the email cekingband23@gmail.com.
