Hello!

Here are this weeks announcements for the KHS Band. September 25th - September 29th


Band Celebrations

  • Our Mighty Panther Marching Band had a great performance at Turner Stadium this past Friday!

Reminders

  • Our second band fee payment of $50 was due on September 5th! Students need to make sure to communicate payment plans to directors.

  • Please try to make sure to schedule doctor and dentist appointments on days where students do not have rehearsals. We will be learning the rest of our marching show over the next two weeks, and students who miss rehearsals WILL end up behind.

  • Students will be rehearsing at the Stadium on Monday. Please expect an extra ten minute wait while we transition from the stadium to the school

Monday September 25th

  • White Day (1, 3, 5, 7, 8)

  • Full Band 4:00PM - 7:00PM

  • Stadium Rehearsal!

  • Parent Pickup Location: In Front of PAC

  • Parents MUST park in a parking spot for Student Safety. You will not be able to pull up next to the school and have your student hop in. Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe.


Tuesday September 26th

  • Blue Day (2, 4, 5, 6, 8)

  • Winds Sectional | 3:30PM - 5:30PM

  • Parent Pickup Location: In Front of PAC

  • Parents MUST park in a parking spot for Student Safety. You will not be able to pull up next to the school and have your student hop in. Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe.

Wednesday September 27th

  • White Day (1, 3, 5, 7, 8)

  • Percussion and Guard Sectionals | 3:30pm - 5:30PM

  • Pantherettes Rehearsal! Have Flip Folders and be ready to go at 3:30PM

  • FULL BAND from 3:30PM - 6:30PM

  • Parent Pickup Location: In Front of PAC

  • Parents MUST park in a parking spot for Student Safety. You will not be able to pull up next to the school and have your student hop in. Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe.

Friday September 29th

  • NORTH SHORE HOME GAME

  • PEP RALLY DAY

  • ADJUSTED SCHOOL SCHEDULE

  • 1st Period – 7:05 – 8:32

  • 3rd Period – 8:38 – 10:05

  • 5th Period – 10:11 – 11:12

  • 7th Period – 11:17-1:38 (9th Grade Center Transportation TBD)

  • A Lunch – 11:23-11:53

  • B lunch – 11:58 – 12:28

  • C Lunch – 12:33 – 1:03

  • D Lunch – 1:08 – 1:38

  • 1:38 – Release all Band @ end of D lunch

  • 8th Period – 1:44 – 2:44

  • GAME DAY ITINERARY

  • 2:40 pm Transition to Stadium

Here are this weeks announcements for the KHS Band. September 19th - September 22nd


Band Celebrations

  • Our Varsity Woodwinds got to perform at the Sheldon ISD Blue Card Luncheon on September 11th. They represented the band program well and had a great performance.

Reminders

  • Students will be going outside on Thursday during their Band Class.

  • GRADE CHECKS WERE LAST WEEK. Band students who fail this next progress report will lose eligibility and will not be able to attend Football Games, Marching Contests, Parades, and Pep Rallies until they regain eligibility. Students who fail must still attend every marching band rehearsal.

  • 2:45 pm Call time in front of PAC/Transition to Stadium

  • 3:00 pm Stadium Rehearsal

  • 4:15 pm Dinner

  • 4:45 pm Inspection

  • 5:15 pm Depart for Turner Stadium

  • 7:00 pm Kickoff

  • 10:30pm Approximate End of Game/Load/Depart for KHS

Here are this weeks announcements for the KHS Band. September 11th - September 15th


Band Celebrations

  • The KHS Band got to perform in Pearland last Friday

  • Your Mighty Panther Band got to be on the news this past Friday. Thank you to those of you who tuned in to Fox and Friends at 6:45AM to support the band.

Reminders

  • Students will be going outside on Monday and Thursday during their Band Class.

  • GRADE CHECKS ARE THIS FRIDAY. Band students who fail this next progress report will lose eligibility and will not be able to attend Football Games, Marching Contests, Parades, and Pep Rallies until they regain eligibility. Students who fail must still attend every marching band rehearsal.
