Weekly Recap
The Sheldon ISD Band Program had a great week of marching band! We had multiple performances of our show Fanta-SEA this past week. On Thursday the students got to perform at Turner Stadium for the C.E. King v. Kingwood Away Game. On Friday, Sheldon ISD's Game Day Live was a huge success. Our students got to perform for all the 5th Graders in the entire district and promote the Band Program.
Our students original performance for October 25th was unfortunately moved to Monday October 27th due to weather conditions. Please come out and support the KHS Band Students at Woodforest Bank Stadium at 8:15AM!

Reminder that Mock Region Auditions will help determine which band class students will be in for the Spring 2026 Semester. Students will be judged on their ability to play through the Freshmen Cuts of the 3 Region Etudes. Please know that students will be given a participation grade for this audition. Students will be evaluated by different band directors from around the Houston Area and with their recommendations given to the KHS Directors.

These rehearsals are tentative until the results of Area Marching Contest come out. If the band advances to state competition, a new schedule will be sent out on October 26th.
